About Us
Band
Curtis Bland and I decided in 2019 that we weren’t getting any younger, and started playing shows as a duo around Northwest Arkansas & Central Arkansas. Since then, we have added bassist Rob McCormick and drummer Chris Lane. We have done a range of show sizes from solo/acoustic to full band and have branched out to East Tennessee to broaden our reach.
Originals
I have been writing songs since 2010 and started taking the writing seriously when I met Curtis. Now, we have over 25 original songs that are a mixture of the past songs I have written with a touch of rock and the amazing music Curtis has written for us with my lyrics on top. We always play all of our originals and fill time with our best cover songs from various country and rock artists.
Lyrics
Our set-lists are made for each event. Some of our originals/covers can be explicit, but we understand that some venues would not want this. Having 2 young daughters of my own, we are always ready and more than happy to play a “family friendly” show.
Live Sound
Our sound can be heard around Northwest Arkansas, the River Valley, and, recently, Eastern Tennessee. We like being more upbeat, with a little something for both country and rock fans.
Original Music
We have been using SoundCloud to give our fans a feel of the full sound we are trying to achieve. Our full band events should sound very similar to the tracks that are featured here. Our duo shows always feature an electric guitar to get closer to our sound. My solo shows are the acoustic versions of the originals/covers but adjusted to my sound and voice.
